    Default Anywhere???

    Hey all..
New to the hobby and have a EK4 S2 that I am looking to run somewhere. Any ideas where to go? I think that there is no track in Peterborough and I dont get to Durham often, so looking for some where local to Peterborough or Lakefield.
    Any ideas would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Ron

Sorry I don't get out that way much, I haven't heard of any places since the Peterborough clubs track shut down.

    Good luck

EK4S2.... oh man have fun with that! I had one of those before, once you get that motor tuned and running right NOTHING has more power than it...

    30% Heli Fuel...
Richer than you think it needs to be...
    Be prepaired to break diffs....

If you are looking for EK4 info the best site is www.midmad.com not much use on there anymore but lots of information stored! Search and you will find everything you want to know. I am 'Stalker' on there.

    Hey JABodies...

Its a cool truck for sure... Really the only issue I am having with it is if I put the brake on too far she will just stall out... Other than that the blue smoke flies when she runs. I have checked out midmad and your right its a great site, has helped me alot.

As a deal with my wife, I am buying a Losi 8ight and the deal was to sell the EK4 (or at least try too )...

Thanks for replying... Maybe one day I will make it down to the track and you can burn a lap or 20 with the EK4 for old time sake

    Take care.

You need to raise the idle speed on the truck a bit if it is stalling out when you apply the brakes, what is happening is because that is such a big motor compared to others the carb needs to have a slightly bigger gap at idle. It's an easy fix most likely!

If that isn't the problem then your clutch shoes are hanging up and causing the engine to stall out. Does that one have the slider clutch on it or the 3 shoe?

Good deal with the wife! If you want to race then the Losi is a much better choice!

I'd definitely love to see an EK4 in action again! Let me know if you are going to head down and I'll get over there to check it out and help you with anything you might need on it!
